Design Thinking is a methodology used by designers to solve complex problems, and find desirable solutions for clients. A design mindset is not problem-focused, it’s solution focused and action oriented towards creating a preferred future. Design Thinking draws upon logic, imagination, intuition, and systemic reasoning, to explore possibilities of what could be—and to create desired outcomes that benefit the end user (the customer).
You can design the way you lead, manage, create and innovate. The design way of thinking can be applied to systems, procedures, protocols, and customer/user experiences. 
Design thinking minimizes the uncertainty and risk of innovation by engaging customers or users through a series of prototypes to learn, test and refine concepts. Design thinkers rely on customer insights gained from real-world experiments, not just historical data or market research.

How many participants can attend a workshop?

We recommend a minimum of 20 and maximum of 40 participants for a workshop.

A day long classroom session with loads of hands-on activities.

Is Design Thinking only for client/customer facing roles?

Absolutely not. Design Thinking is about human/user centricity; and everyone has a user! We have often had phenomenal results from Design Thinking engagements with back office and shared services teams, operations and supply chain teams, and even HR teams working on employee related challenges.

Is design Thinking same as Visual Design?

Design thinking is a creative-problem solving approach with specific tools, methods and mindset. Its a process to design for how your system will work.

How do you assess the impact of Design Thinking on the project?

It basically depends upon the business goal. Most of the time Design Thinking is implemented at conceptualization phases. In this case we measure the amount of uncertainity reduced. For operation efficiency projects specific metrics like adoption rate, efficiency etc are measured.

Is Design thinking applicable to any industry?

Yes, absolutely it is applicable to any industry. It helps you bring more clarity to the problem you are solving.
